The hospital gave me this giant foam sling when I was discharged last week. They explained that it can be worn backwards as well to give the hand extra protection so I’ve been wearing it at night. My arm looks really weird, a bit like the Michelin man but it’s worked well (most nights).
Last night I had a dream about having my Covid vaccine and my arm becoming really sore and painful. Then I woke up and realised I’d got my super-sized giant foam arm jammed sideways in a really awkward position. So that was actually the culprit of my arm pain. My hand was fine so I’ll carry on wearing it for now.
