This is a photo taken at the end of a hot, hazy summer’s day last August at Holkham beach, Norfolk. It’s home of the ‘sand flower’ and one of my favourite places that I visit at least twice every year. I spent a lot of my childhood in Norfolk on this beach and it’s my go-to place for a bit of R&R.
I’m heading for Norfolk tomorrow and can’t wait to escape. With my operation looming this trip is a chance to rest my head for a few days, get some fresh air and have a change of scenery. I’ve got a bit of a mental, wish-list for while I’m there…
Go to Holkham beach
Paddle in the water (even if it’s freezing)
Have a drink in a pub garden
Eat fish and chips
Sit on the quay side at Burnham Overy and watch the world go by
I’m planning to take lots of photos and do some videos while I’m away and I’ll try and share them with you if I’ve time.
