Privvi’s first retail outing

Last Friday I dropped my first display unit of Privvi at a local Farm shop. They sell fresh food and have a deli but they also have a small gifts and homewares section. I might stop by and see how the little boxes are doing – it’s funny but I do have an emotional attachment and a sense of responsibility for them.

The good thing about Privvi is that it has a purpose so I’m not relying on people to purchase it just because they want it. I won’t be put off if they don’t sell here but I can see how it goes. It’s still early days for getting out and about and it may just take some time and perseverance. There are lots of other outlets to try.

I’ve has some news about the operation on my hand which I will share later in the week. It’s good and bad and I’m trying not to feel afraid and sad.

My name's Anna and I decided to write a blog following an accident last year. I will never regain the full use of my right hand and an operation led to additional, ongoing complications. This is about my struggles following the accident and the challenges of trying to save the use I still have in my hand. It’s a story about my product and why it appeared in my head one day because of my traumatic experiences. How I took that positive vision and worked towards bringing it to life. The challenges of putting it together and getting it to the market whilst still undergoing debilitating, ongoing treatment. It's a journey you can share with me. I'm not there yet...
