Shipping to the USA

I’ve been tracking visitors to my Privvi website (www.privvi.co.uk) and noticed there have been quite a few views from the US. Originally I’d ruled out shipping my product across the Atlantic due to the extra delivery costs but I decided to revisit the idea due to the apparent interest.

Unfortunately it appears that it’s not possible for me to get Privvi to the US due to product restrictions. In theory (although I’m not sure how these things work) I could send the empty boxes to the US to be packed and distributed within the country. Also, it may be that specific shipping methods allow certain goods to be transported without restriction. There must be companies that distribute goods across the world and have this sort of thing down to a T. It may take me a bit longer to work it out but I’d like to investigate this if things go to plan. I’d like to make my product available in the US, if I can at some point.

My name's Anna and I decided to write a blog following an accident last year. I will never regain the full use of my right hand and an operation led to additional, ongoing complications. This is about my struggles following the accident and the challenges of trying to save the use I still have in my hand. It’s a story about my product and why it appeared in my head one day because of my traumatic experiences. How I took that positive vision and worked towards bringing it to life. The challenges of putting it together and getting it to the market whilst still undergoing debilitating, ongoing treatment. It's a journey you can share with me. I'm not there yet...
